How to Reschedule a Job
When to use this guide
Use this guide when a customer changes their appointment or when you must adjust your daily schedule.
Prerequisites
- Job must already exist.
- The job must not be completed or invoiced.
Step-by-step
Step 1 — Open the Schedule
- Go to Schedule.
- Select Day or Week view.
Step 2 — Reschedule by Drag & Drop
You can modify:
🕒 Time
Drag the job card up or down.
📆 Date
Drag the job horizontally into another date column (Week view).
👤 Assigned Employee
Drag the card into another employee’s column.
Step 3 — Edit Details (Optional)
For more advanced edits:
- Click the job card.
- Click Edit Job.
- Adjust:
- Date
- Time
- Duration
- Notes
- Save changes.
Common mistakes
❌ “I moved the job but it didn’t change”
- Schedule filters may be active.
- Refresh to confirm.
❌ “Employee unavailable”
Reasons:
- Employee has no working hours configured.
- Employee has a day off or event.
- Employee is already booked for that time.
❌ “Customer wants a different time but schedule won’t allow it”
- Job duration may be too long for the open slot.
