How to Mark a Job as Completed

When to use this guide

Use this guide to complete jobs, collect photos, finish checklists, and close the workflow for billing.

Prerequisites

  • Job must be assigned to a technician.
  • Employee must log in through the mobile app.

Step-by-step (Mobile App)

Step 1 — Open Today’s Jobs

  1. Open the DOP Employee App.
  2. Tap Today’s Jobs.
  3. Select the job.

Step 2 — Complete the Checklist

  1. Fill in each task.
  2. Confirm mandatory items.
  3. Add internal notes if needed.

Step 3 — Upload Photos

Add:

  • Before photos
  • After photos
  • Issues found
  • Damages
  • Materials used

Step 4 — Mark Job as Completed

Tap Complete Job.

The office admin will now see the job marked as Completed and ready for invoicing.


Completing From the Admin Panel

  1. Go to Jobs.
  2. Open the job.
  3. Review checklist, photos, notes.
  4. Click Mark as Completed.

Common mistakes

❌ “Employee can’t complete the job”

  • Job not assigned.
  • Employee is using wrong login.
  • Checklist not fully completed.

❌ Missing photos

  • Ensure the mobile app has camera permissions.
