How Customers Log In to the Client Portal
When to use this guide
Use this guide when a customer needs help logging into the Client Portal to view their invoices, payments, jobs, and quotes.
Prerequisites
- Customer must have an active portal invitation.
- Customer must have an email on file.
Step-by-step
Step 1 — Customer Receives an Invitation
Invitations are sent from the Customer Profile.
Email subject: “Access Your Customer Portal — Diamond Operations Pro”
Step 2 — Customer Creates Password
Customer clicks Access To Portal in the email.
They will:
- Enter they user name
- Enter a code send to their email
- Log in automatically
Step 3 — Customer Logs In
Portal URL is included in the invitation email.
Customer logs in with:
- user name
- email code
Step 4 — Customer Dashboard Overview
Once inside, customers can:
- View upcoming appointments
- Check completed jobs
- See invoices
- Make payments
- Request new services
- Download receipts
Step 5 — Password Reset
If the customer forgets the password:
- Click Forgot Password in the portal.
- Enter the email.
- Receive a reset link.
- Set a new password.
Common mistakes
❌ “Invalid login”
- Customer trying to log in before accepting the invitation.
- Wrong email.
- Password expired.
❌ No jobs or invoices visible
- Wrong customer selected.
- Jobs assigned under a different customer or business.
