How Customers Log In to the Client Portal

When to use this guide

Use this guide when a customer needs help logging into the Client Portal to view their invoices, payments, jobs, and quotes.

Prerequisites

  • Customer must have an active portal invitation.
  • Customer must have an email on file.

Step-by-step

Step 1 — Customer Receives an Invitation

Invitations are sent from the Customer Profile.

Email subject: “Access Your Customer Portal — Diamond Operations Pro”


Step 2 — Customer Creates Password

Customer clicks Access To Portal in the email.

They will:

  1. Enter they user name
  2. Enter a code send to their email
  3. Log in automatically

Step 3 — Customer Logs In

Portal URL is included in the invitation email.

Customer logs in with:

  • user name
  • email code

Step 4 — Customer Dashboard Overview

Once inside, customers can:

  • View upcoming appointments
  • Check completed jobs
  • See invoices
  • Make payments
  • Request new services
  • Download receipts

Step 5 — Password Reset

If the customer forgets the password:

  1. Click Forgot Password in the portal.
  2. Enter the email.
  3. Receive a reset link.
  4. Set a new password.

Common mistakes

❌ “Invalid login”

  • Customer trying to log in before accepting the invitation.
  • Wrong email.
  • Password expired.

❌ No jobs or invoices visible

  • Wrong customer selected.
  • Jobs assigned under a different customer or business.
