Jobs are the core of your operation.
Every visit your team performs begins with a Job and ends in a billing or payroll record.


1. Job Structure

A job includes:

  • Customer
  • Property
  • Services & activities
  • Duration
  • Priority
  • Assigned employees
  • Checklist
  • Files / photos
  • Internal notes
  • Customer notes
  • Price
  • Tax configuration
  • Travel distance

2. Activities & Pricing

Activities define:

  • What service is being performed
  • Unit cost
  • Quantity
  • Tax
  • Category

You can:

  • Add activities
  • Edit amounts
  • Add materials
  • Include custom charges

3. Job Photos & Files

Employees upload:

  • Before / after photos
  • Damage reports
  • Notes
  • Receipts

Files appear in:

  • Job panel
  • Invoice PDF
  • Customer portal

4. Checklists

Checklists ensure consistency.
If required items are not completed, the job cannot be finished.

Types:

  • Mandatory photos
  • Step-by-step tasks
  • Notes fields

5. Job Status

Statuses flow automatically:

  1. Scheduled
  2. On the way
  3. In progress
  4. Finished

6. Integration with Billing

Once a job is marked “Finished”:

  • Invoice is created (automatic or manual)
  • Customer receives SMS/email link
  • Fees are calculated (optional)
  • Payment methods are shown based on settings

Statuses flow automatically:

  1. Unsent
  2. Sent
  3. To check
  4. Pay

7. Integration with Payroll

When employees complete work, DOP stores:

  • Work hours
  • Start/End timestamps
  • Drive time
  • Distance
  • Tips
  • Gas compensation
  • Overtime

This flows directly into Payroll.
