How to Convert a Quote Into a Job
When to use this guide
Use this guide when a customer has approved a quote and you want to schedule the job automatically.
Prerequisites
- Quote must be created first.
- Quote must be approved (manually or by customer).
Step-by-step
Step 1 — Open the Quote
Go to Billing → Quotes and select the approved quote.
Step 2 — Click “Convert to Job”
A job creation screen will open auto-filled with:
- Property
- Services
- Pricing
- Notes
- Customer details
No need to retype anything.
Step 3 — Select Date & Time
Choose:
- Date
- Start time
- Duration
Step 4 — Assign Employees (Optional)
You can assign:
- One employee
- A team
Or leave it unassigned for dispatching.
Step 5 — Save Job
Click Create Job.
The system will:
- Move the quote to “Converted” status
- Add the job to the Schedule
- Link pricing to the future invoice
Common mistakes
❌ Trying to convert an unapproved quote
Quotes must be approved first.
❌ Job showing wrong price
Check if property has custom pricing.
