How to Add a Property

When to use this guide

Use this guide when a customer has one or more properties where services will take place.

Prerequisites

  • Customer must exist in the system.

Step-by-step

Step 1 — Open the Customer Profile

  1. Go to Customers.
  2. Click the customer’s name.
  3. Open the Properties tab.

Step 2 — Click “Add Property”

A form will appear to enter property details.


Step 3 — Enter Property Information

You can add:

  • Street address
  • City, state, country
  • Access notes (gate code, parking, pets)
  • Alarm details
  • Bedrooms/Bathrooms
  • Custom pricing (optional)
  • Preferred employees (optional)

Step 4 — Save the Property

Click Save Property.

The property will now appear in:

  • Job creation screen
  • Customer profile
  • Dispatching view
  • Batch invoice module

Common mistakes

❌ “Property not showing when creating a job”

  • Property belongs to a different customer.
  • Page needs a refresh after creating the property.

❌ Address error

  • Some browsers auto-fill with invalid data—verify manually.
